The Mayor of Jersey City, Steve Fulop, and the Jersey City Council are planning to vote on legislation that will greatly impact our local economy.
If passed, the Jobs Tax would raise taxes on all business owners, big and small, by charging them a tax on their payrolls.
This Jobs Tax would in turn threaten wages for employees and reduce the number of good paying jobs in Jersey City.
Our community has done so much to move forward, which is why we need to tell our politicians to oppose the Jobs Tax
