Jersey City can NOT afford to punish our hard working community with this jobs tax.

We MUST protect our small businesses.

Who this Hurts:

  • The Mayor of Jersey City, Steve Fulop, and the Jersey City Council are planning to vote on legislation that will greatly impact our local economy.

  • If passed, the Jobs Tax would raise taxes on all business owners, big and small, by charging them a tax on their payrolls.

  • This Jobs Tax would in turn threaten wages for employees and reduce the number of good paying jobs in Jersey City.

Our Approach:

  • Our community has done so much to move forward, which is why we need to tell our politicians to oppose the Jobs Tax

  • Support local businesses and entrepreneurs - call Mayor Fulop and City Council members to make your voice heard.
